Job summary

Roosevelt University in Chicago seeks an Acting Associate Vice President for Development, Alumni Relations, and Campaigns to provide strategic leadership and management of the development, alumni relations, and campaigns units.

Reporting to the Interim Vice President for Institutional Advancement, this role advances a culture of philanthropy, directs revenue-generating units, and partners with deans, staff, and volunteers to meet annual goals and a comprehensive campaign.

Qualifications

• Earned Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of experience in highly productive fundraising.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge or comparable fundraising database systems.
• Proven ability to manage development staff in higher education and drive strategic growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, annual giving, and alumni relations as the revenue-generating core of the University.
• Collaborate with deans and staff to align fundraising with university priorities.
• Plan and implement integrated fundraising strategies and major campaigns.
• Serve as spokesperson for the University at events and with external partners.
