Job summary

SBQuantum Inc. seeks a Director of Business Development to own strategic capture efforts in defense and aerospace. You will lead relationships with primes, INS manufacturers, and OEMs, shaping requirements and guiding joint development agreements. This is a remote US-based role with travel 25–50% and reports to the CEO.

You will drive a pipeline from pilots to production programs, and grow into a VP of Business Development as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a BD, capture, program management, or tech role within aerospace/defense

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle capture with primes, INS developers, and drone OEMs; negotiate JDAs and funded evaluations
• Represent us at US and Canadian defense events (ION, JNC, AUVSI)
• Translate program requirements into our roadmap with engineering/product teams
• Build commercial infra: capture plans, pricing frameworks, and initial hires
