Job summary

3Cloud is seeking an experienced technology leader to drive data engineering initiatives in a consultancy setting. You will guide data governance, architecture, and delivery across multiple client projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and strategic alignment with business goals.

You will lead a team of data practitioners, manage capacity with People Excellence, and engage stakeholders to maintain strong client relationships while advancing the practice’s technical roadmap.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of technology leadership experience within a consultancy.
• Expertise in modern data engineering, preferably Azure in data warehousing, data lakes and lake house architecture.
• Broad experience in data governance, architecture, data integration, data classification, data analysis, data visualization, data quality management, data security and privacy, MDM, data standards, regulatory compliance and enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong stakeholder management.
• Experience leading data practitioners and defining team processes and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and drive practice area financial performance (utilization, margin, investments).
• Provide executive sponsorship and client success focus across projects.
• Coach delivery teams and share feedback with managers.
• Collaborate with People Excellence to manage capacity and capability.
• Ensure clear guidelines and resources for learning within the practice.
• Support and drive technical excellence through architecture reviews and problem resolution.
• Lead quarterly tech roadmap briefings and share lessons learned.
