Job summary

Parkland Health is seeking a Senior Data Governance leader to guide enterprise data standards and reporting governance. You will align EHR data management with organizational strategies, partnering with IT and clinical leaders to drive data quality and interoperability.

You will oversee dashboards, data models, and governance programs, mentoring staff and ensuring timely, accurate reporting across Parkland's enterprise data ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Seven years in a complex clinical EHR environment.
• Five years leading data governance initiatives.
• Experience with SQL databases (MS SQL).
• Epic EHR proficiency preferred for reporting.
• Experience with dashboards and Big Data preferred.

Responsibilities

• Propose enterprise-wide reporting strategy and data standards.
• Lead consolidation of reporting groups and standardize processes.
• Develop enterprise data standards and source of truth.
• Guide Enterprise Reporting and Decision Support Group and IT PMO.
• Mentor report writers and enable data mining and reporting.
• Develop and maintain data warehouses, marts, and dashboards.
• Manage staff, timelines, budgets, and resource forecasting.
• Collaborate with sponsors to develop and retrieve reports.
