Job summary

Contexture is seeking a Manager of Data Governance to lead enterprise data governance activities, promoting data quality, standardization, and interoperability across the organization. You will partner with business, clinical, operational and technical teams to advance governance practices and ensure authoritative use of enterprise data standards.

The role requires strong leadership, governance expertise, and the ability to drive committees, engage stakeholders, and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant healthcare data management experience.
• Minimum 2+ years leading staff or cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, Health Information Management, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or Data Analytics.
• Professional certification in healthcare/data governance preferred.
• Experience in interoperability, data standards, terminology, governance, or industry workgroups preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead in the implementation of operational plans and governance standards.
• Champion Contexture’s data governance priorities across teams.
• Maintain and evolve the Contexture Gold Standard and metadata artifacts.
• Lead Data Governance Committee meetings and track actions.
• Coordinate enterprise data steward activities and governance issues.
• Represent Contexture on external standards bodies and forums.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and staff development for assigned team.
• Manage governance-related data quality operations and issue remediation.
• Develop governance reporting and data literacy initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
