Job summary

Computacenter AG & Co. oHG in Irvine, CA is seeking a Solution Director to lead the Data Center Solutions Engineering practice across mid-market and enterprise accounts. You will guide technical strategy, governance, and deal quality while mentoring a team of Solutions Architects.

You will travel to customer meetings and OEM engagements, drive profitable growth, and partner closely with Sales to win large, complex opportunities. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in enterprise infrastructure architecture.
• 5+ years leading senior Solutions Architects or engineering teams.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise data centers, high-density compute, or HPC environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow the Data Center Line of Business across compute, storage, networking, power, cooling, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies aligned to enterprise and mid-market segments.
• Lead large, transformational opportunities and mentor a team of Solutions Architects.
• Partner with Sales Leadership to identify, qualify, and close large-scale opportunities.
