First National Bank of Omaha is seeking a Senior Director, Advanced Data Scientist to lead strategic data science initiatives within the Partnership Division. You will shape the multi-year modeling roadmap and oversee credit risk, portfolio management, and customer analytics with executive-level visibility.

The role requires expert Python/R, SQL, and ML techniques (XGBoost/LightGBM), plus strong communication.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing statistical or ML models, preferably in financial services.
• Experience with credit-risk modeling and portfolio management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the multi-year modeling roadmap for credit risk models.
• Lead end-to-end model development from problem definition to production.
• Develop interpretable ML approaches balancing performance and regulatory needs.
• Monitor model performance and stability; recalibrate as needed.
• Communicate strategy and results to senior leaders with executive-ready reports.
