Job summary

Lumen seeks a Senior Director of Corporate Ethics and Compliance to lead ethics and compliance programs and oversee the corporate investigations function. You will drive risk assessment, monitoring, and remediation work across the organization, ensuring adherence to laws and industry standards.

You will provide strategic guidance to senior management, supervise the whistleblower hotline, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address complex compliance issues and training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law; JD degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in ethics, compliance, corporate investigations, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful ethics and compliance programs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• High level of integrity and ethical judgment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee ethics and compliance programs.
• Oversee internal whistleblower hotline and quarterly reporting to the Board.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and corrective actions.
• Regularly partner with internal audit on compliance matters.
• Oversee corporate investigations team and hotline analysts.
• Prepare processes for proactive monitoring of noncompliance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and industry standards.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior management on ethics and compliance.
• Develop and deliver ethics and compliance training.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve compliance issues.
