Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Senior Director of Corporate Development to build and lead a world-class corporate development function. The role will report to the Vice President of Corporate Development and oversee transactions including acquisitions, joint ventures, asset divestitures and restructurings, minority investments and related initiatives.

• Undergraduate degree and MBA (preferable).
• 10+ years of proven experience in the M&A technology sector, including banking, consulting or private equity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support corporate development transactions through all phases of the transaction lifecycle.
• Partner with Product Line leaders to identify strategic gaps, evaluate build/buy/partner options and assist in target selection criteria.
• Develop an understanding of the competitive landscape and establish relationships with key industry players.
• Drive due diligence processes and valuation analyses to inform deal decisions and integration costs.
• Prepare materials for executive and board presentations with clear rationale and risks.
