Job summary

National Life Group seeks a senior Corporate Development professional to support sourcing, evaluation, and execution of reinsurance and M&A opportunities in the life and annuity space. You will develop financial models, collaborate across finance, legal, and operations, and present business cases to senior leaders in a fast-growing insurer.

The role requires 10+ years in insurance, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related field is required.
• Preferred designations: FSA or FIA.
• Strong knowledge of life insurance and annuities products.

Responsibilities

• Deal sourcing and evaluation for reinsurance and M&A opportunities.
• Manage portions of the lifecycle from sourcing to due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration.
• Develop sophisticated financial models and market analyses to support business cases.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across finance, legal, operations.
• Support VP, Corporate Development in stakeholder management with external partners and investors.
• Prepare and present detailed business cases and board-level reports.
