Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Banking, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of banking operations experience, including people leadership.
• Strong background in corporate or commercial banking operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of commercial lending and loan servicing.
• Experience with trade finance products such as letters of credit, standby LCs, and guarantees.
• Knowledge of deposits, cash management, domestic and international payments, and transaction settlement.
• Experience supporting Treasury functions, including liquidity monitoring, cash positioning, funding, and settlements.
• Familiarity with foreign exchange and money market products.
• Working knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC requirements, and U.S. bank regulatory expectations.
• Experience working for an international bank or cross-border financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day banking operations and ensure transactions are completed accurately and within controls.
• Provide oversight across loan servicing, deposits, cash management, payments, account servicing, and trade finance.
• Review and resolve complex transactions, processing exceptions, and settlement discrepancies.
• Oversee payment activity through major U.S. and international networks including wire transfers and messaging.
• Manage operational support for letters of credit and related trade products.
• Ensure reconciliations, settlements, and daily controls are completed.
• Oversee Treasury activities: liquidity, funding movements, FX, money market, settlements.
• Monitor balances and coordinate funding with international Treasury teams.
• Maintain transaction controls, approvals, and segregation of duties.
• Lead and develop the Operations team including coaching and training.
• Serve as escalation point for client, settlement, or processing issues.
• Support regulatory reviews, audits, and control testing.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve processes.
