Job summary

Bloomberg Industry Group is seeking a Senior Director, Core, AI & Search to set direction for foundational AI, search, and platform capabilities across Bloomberg Law, Bloomberg Tax, and Bloomberg Government. This role leads Product Managers and Technical Product Managers, partnering with Engineering and cross-functional leaders to translate investments into measurable user and business outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in building and shipping digital products.
10+ years working on technology-powered products across PM, design, engineering, data roles, or similar.
3+ years of supervisory experience leading product teams.
Proven success managing large product portfolios and strategically important initiatives.
Ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive alignment across complex organizations.

Responsibilities

Establish product strategy and roadmap direction for Bloomberg Industry Group’s shared AI, search, and platform capabilities.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers and Technical Product Managers.
Ensure Core, AI & Search efforts operate as a connected portfolio rather than isolated roadmaps.
Shape long-term product investments and resource allocation across AI, search, data, workflow, and platform capabilities.
Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Architecture, UX, User Research, Legal, Security, Privacy, Content, and business unit leaders to align priorities and technical direction.
