Job summary

Bloomberg Industry Group seeks a Senior Director, Core, AI & Search to set direction for foundational AI, search, and platform capabilities across Bloomberg Law, Bloomberg Tax, and Bloomberg Government.

You will lead Product Managers and Technical Product Managers, partnering with Engineering and cross-functional leaders to deliver scalable, AI-native experiences for legal, tax, and government professionals.

Qualifications

10+ years working on technology-powered products, with at least 7 years in product management or similar roles.
3+ years of supervisory experience leading multiple product teams.
Proven success shaping investment decisions and long-term strategic direction.
Strong leadership, organizational, and portfolio management skills.
Experience managing organizational change and aligning priorities across large teams.

Responsibilities

Establish product strategy and roadmap direction for shared AI, search, and platform capabilities.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers and Technical Product Managers.
Ensure Core, AI & Search efforts operate as a connected portfolio.
Shape long-term investments and resource allocation for AI, search, data, workflow, and platform capabilities.
Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Architecture, UX, and Legal to align priorities and direction.
Establish operating rhythms for ownership, intake, prioritization, dependencies, and decision-making.
Define quality and measurement standards for AI and search capabilities and user trust.
