Job summary

Del Monte Foods, the Foods Division of Fresh Del Monte, seeks a Sr. Director, Controller to oversee financial reporting, GL governance, and disclosures for the division.

The role directs AP/AR, drives internal controls, and partners with IT and auditors to ensure accurate, timely financial statements for SEC reporting. Ideal candidate has 15+ years of accounting experience, CPA, MBA or advanced degree, and manufacturing/cost accounting expertise with SAP and ERP systems; leadership in a global

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration; CPA license required.
• Active CPA license; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of related accounting/finance experience; public accounting background advantageous.
• Manufacturing/cost accounting background; experience with complex standard cost systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting process for the Foods Division including general ledger governance and financial statement preparation.
• Direct accounts payable and accounts receivable functions for the Foods Division.
• Lead internal controls design and SOX-related activities with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with IT on key ITGCs and drive automation of accounting processes where beneficial.
• Manage external auditors and lead disclosures for SEC reporting purposes.
