Job summary

Celestica is seeking a senior legal professional to oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to issue management and expiration. You will mitigate risks in commercial agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring compliance with laws and Celestica policies.

You will collaborate with Sales, Business Segments, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to support customer interactions and drive strategic outcomes for Celestica.

Qualifications

• At least ten years of experience in commercial contract law, U.S. law, FAR/DFARS, and related U.S. government contracting regulations.
• J.D. or LLB degree required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and manage commercial and U.S. Government agreements, NDAs, and related contracts.
• Provide contractual direction to business segments and manufacturing sites with input from functional departments.
• Collaborate with customer accounts teams and counsel to translate legal advice into business practice.
• Balance customer needs with Celestica’s risk management and profitability.
• Integrate Celestica's contract management practices across the company worldwide.
• Contribute to Corporate Contracts policy.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, EAR, ITAR and related requirements.
• Evaluate and prioritize divergent interests of Celestica and the customer.
• Make key decisions balancing customer responsiveness with protections.
