Job summary

Celestica seeks a Contracts Manager to draft, negotiate, and execute a broad range of agreements in a remote U.S. capacity.

The role focuses on strict legal compliance, risk control, and policy adherence while supporting internal stakeholders and external vendors and clients. The ideal candidate will manage high-value contracts, coordinate with Business Development, Sales, Finance and Legal, and provide guidance on risk and commercial matters to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eleven to fourteen years of applicable experience.
• Excellent writing and communication skills with knowledge of legal concepts, contract development and negotiation practices.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent negotiating skills, perception management and relationship management skills.
• Good HR skills as well as employee/team management skills and abilities

Responsibilities

• Negotiate highly complex agreements and large global customer contracts with cross-functional teams.
• Identify stakeholders and ensure all interests are represented.
• Balance customer needs with protecting the company’s interests.
• Evaluate contract terms for risk and provide risk analysis to management.
• Liaise with legal counsel and senior management; advise junior staff.
• Develop extremely complex agreements with limited input from leadership.
