Job summary

Gartner is seeking a strategic Project Manager to lead the global event calendar, capacity planning, and attendee projections for the GCC portfolio. You will drive end-to-end calendar processes, partner with internal teams for venue decisions, and deliver data-driven insights across 100+ annual events.

This hybrid role values problem-solving, executive presence, and collaboration with senior leaders to optimize revenue, experiences, and efficiency in Gartner Conferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of project management experience; event management experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing complex programs with multiple variables and dependencies.
• Strong interpersonal skills, especially with senior-level professionals.
• Creative, strategic thinker with keen attention to detail.
• Financial management experience preferred.
• Motivated team player with a growth mindset.
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and manage change.
• Ability to travel up to six times per year domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end process of identifying and confirming dates for Gartner C-Level Communities events.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive event calendar aligned with P&L goals.
• Partner with internal teams to select dates and venues based on requirements and travel considerations.
• Manage calendar approvals and change-management processes; escalate to leadership as needed.
• Lead calendar communications with timely status updates and reporting.
• Analyze venue capacity and attendee projections to align calendar with business needs.
• Build tools and reports for scalable attendee and sponsorship capacity across 100+ events.
• Analyze sponsorship growth proposals for alignment to demand and profitability.
• Manage agendas and presentations for key initiatives meetings using data-driven insights.
