Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Director, Compound Development Team Leader to drive strategic leadership of multidisciplinary development programs. You will guide cross-functional teams, manage program plans and budgets, and align CDT objectives with regulatory and corporate goals across a global portfolio.

The role requires advanced degrees and a track record of directing drug development programs with strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills in a highly matrixed

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or higher in a relevant field; leadership experience in pharma
• Proven ability to lead multi-functional teams in drug development
• Strong knowledge of clinical development and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Compound Development Team and set CDT goals
• Oversee program plans, budgets, and deliverables
• Coordinate with function heads to secure resources and align strategies
• Identify risks and implement contingency plans
• Communicate strategy and progress to governance bodies and stakeholders
• Mentor CDT members and drive performance evaluations
• Represent the company in publications and regulatory interactions
