Job summary

Korean Women's Association in Tacoma, WA seeks a Director of Human Services to lead innovative, culturally responsive programs for immigrant, refugee, and older adult communities. This senior leader will drive strategy, CQI, and staff mentorship from onsite operations.

Successful candidates will oversee government contracts and grants, ensure compliance, and foster a high-performance, trauma-informed workforce that advances nonprofit leadership and community well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in public administration, human services, social work, public health, business, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership in program expansion, redesign, and integration.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and fiscal accountability across service areas.
• Lead culturally and linguistically diverse teams and communities.
• Build partnerships with foundations, agencies and advisory bodies to expand service reach.
