Job summary

HeartShare St. Vincent’s Services in Brooklyn, NY seeks a Senior Director of Community Programs to provide strategic leadership and oversight for DYCD-funded programs including COMPASS, Beacon, and Cornerstone.

You will supervise Program Directors, drive quality, and ensure compliance with OCFS and DYCD requirements while expanding community impact. The role focuses on staff development, partnerships, and program effectiveness across after-school, summer, and school-break initiatives in Brooklyn

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Familiarity with DYCD funded programs, OCFS, DOH regulations.
• Minimum five years working with children, families, communities in after-school or summer programs.
• At least five years supervisory experience, managing Directors.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all Community Program Directors with weekly coaching and evaluations.
• Conduct monthly team meetings; ensure DYCD updates and program operations.
• Provide trainings to ensure DYCD, SACC license, OCFS training requirements.
• Oversee staff recruitment to keep programs fully staffed throughout the year.
• Monitor performance data and ensure compliance with contractual benchmarks.
