Flowers Foods, Inc. seeks a senior procurement leader to own the Commodities tower, drive direct materials sourcing, and manage commodity risk across the company's plants.

You will oversee SAP contracting, Master Data, and SOX controls, while leading a team of category and SAP contracting managers to secure reliable supply and support growth. The role requires extensive experience in direct materials procurement, hedging, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Operations, Legal,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in progressive procurement, direct materials, and commodity sourcing.
• Strong leadership of category managers and SAP contracting.
• Experience with commodity hedging and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing and category leadership across all commodity categories.
• Own commodity risk management program; set coverage strategy and hedge positions.
• Oversee supplier contract negotiations and drive total cost of ownership improvements.
• Own the commodity cost assumptions for annual planning and collaborate with Finance.
• Provide leadership for Direct P2P, SAP Master Data integrity, and SOX controls.
• Hire, develop, and lead a team of five category and SAP contracting managers.
