Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. seeks a seasoned procurement executive to lead the Commodities tower across the company's plants. You will own sourcing, commodity risk management, and the direct procure-to-pay function, ensuring reliable supply of raw materials and SAP contracting.

You will build and mentor a team of five category and SAP contracting managers, shape coverage strategies, drive savings, and partner with Finance on planning. Experience in direct materials and food/bakery is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 10–15 years of progressive procurement experience.
• Experience with direct materials and commodity procurement.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Food & beverage or bakery sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing across commodity categories.
• Develop category strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Oversee commodity risk management and hedging.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and terms.
• Manage Direct P2P SAP processes and data integrity.
• Drive cost savings and productivity improvements.
• Develop and mentor a team of five managers.
• Ensure supply continuity and supplier development.
