Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines with 5–7+ years in operational leadership within a large insurance brokerage or agency. Must hold an active P&C license and CPCU/CIC designation preferred.

The role focuses on national operations, workflow standardization, and M&A integration support, with remote work and occasional hybrid onsite as needed. The position drives strategic initiatives, operational excellence, capacity planning, and performance across Commercial

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and sustainable improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives with Divisional and Regional Leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable productivity improvements.
• Establish standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process optimization to increase productivity and consistency.
• Analyze staffing, capacity planning, and service demands for growth.
• Align Managed Services with organizational goals and resource use.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and systems (EPIC).
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and planning.
• Collaborate with producers and leadership to ensure strategic execution.
