Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Sr Director of Commercial Excellence to lead cross-functional initiatives aligned to AGT’s three-year plan. You will manage 2-3 strategic initiatives concurrently, interfacing with executives to drive speed, precision, and measurable business impact across sales and CS landscapes.

The role blends strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, requiring strong stakeholder management, analytical rigor, and the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• 12-15 years of experience in strategy, operations, or project leadership roles with increasing responsibility.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, able to navigate complex challenges.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills, capable of crafting and delivering persuasive narratives.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery—from initial framing through execution, with tracking and impact realization of new operating models and capabilities.
• Develop and apply strategic frameworks with a focus on actionable insights.
• Lead complex program and project management efforts with strategic oversight and hands-on execution.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure initiatives are aligned and embedded across the organization.
• Engage with stakeholders to identify challenges, recommend solutions, and manage expectations.
• Deliver presentations and updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
• Oversee ongoing strategic review and continuous improvement processes.
• Build and sustain a high-performing team of skilled resources.
• Mentor and support the strategic planning team.
