Infoblox is hiring a Senior Director of Site Reliability Engineering and Platform Engineering in Tacoma, WA. You will lead global SRE and DevOps teams, driving reliability across on‑prem and SaaS products while aligning with Product Management and IT.

You bring 15+ years in SRE/platform roles, deep cloud and Kubernetes expertise, and strong leadership. The role reports to Engineering leadership and emphasizes operational excellence, attending to risk, capacity, and scalability.

Formación

• 15+ years in SRE or platform engineering, with at least 5 years in a director-level role.
• 10+ years of cloud infrastructure experience and DevOps practices.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, high-availability systems with containers and Kubernetes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of reliability and platform engineers, championing reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement across Infoblox products.
• Establish a charter for best-in-class site reliability engineering and drive teams toward these practices.
• Institute tools and processes for monitoring, observability, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and incident management to support 99.999 availability for critical services.
• Manage large-scale infrastructure across multiple cloud providers using a mix of native cloud, open-source, and commercial tools.
• Define and ensure customer-driven SLIs/SLOs exist for new and existing functionality.
• Communicate progress by highlighting achievements, risks, and KPIs feeding Infoblox’s strategy.
• Facilitate continuous training programs to reduce risk, including reliability training for staff.
• Drive product reliability, operational and efficiency metrics with automation for maturity and risk assessment.
