Job summary

Travelport LP seeks a Senior Director of Cloud Engineering to lead the AWS platform strategy for our next-gen Travelport platform. You will oversee production AWS environments, define infrastructure as code standards, and drive automation, observability and cost control across teams.

You will coordinate with Data Strategy, Architecture and Cyber groups to support AI, data lakes and GenAI use cases, ensuring scalable, secure and reliable deployment in a hybrid cloud setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cloud engineering for large-scale AWS environments.
• Strong IaC, automation and cost-control practices.
• Exposure to AI/GenAI platform needs and data engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud engineering strategy for AWS, automation, resilience, security and cost.
• Define engineering standards for infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and platform guardrails.
• Improve platform observability, incident response and 24/7 support coverage.
• Collaborate with Product, Commercial and Data teams to scale AI workloads and capacity planning.
• Guide architecture decisions to support GenAI production workloads.
