Job summary

OpenLoop is seeking a senior Cloud/Platform Leader to own the cloud strategy and architecture across our AWS-based platform. You will direct engineering teams, set standards for reliability, security, and observability, and drive automated, scalable infrastructure and cost awareness.

You will collaborate with Product, Security, and Compliance to embed HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST controls, while leading cloud migrations and platform modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure or platform engineering, with 4+ years leading engineering teams (managers of managers preferred).
• Deep hands-on AWS production workload experience; GCP/Azure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year cloud roadmap for OpenLoop's cloud platform (AWS).
• Build, hire, and lead cloud/infra engineers and managers; set expectations and culture.
• Drive infrastructure as code with Terraform, CI/CD, and self-service tooling.
