Job summary

The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is seeking an Associate Executive Director to lead the chapter's fundraising and engagement efforts. This role emphasizes partnering with volunteers, expanding revenue through major gift campaigns, events, and sponsorships, and driving community awareness to advance the mission.

The position combines leadership of chapter staff with strategic planning and robust reporting, supporting growth and improved donor stewardship across programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Not-for-profit fundraising experience with events, corporate/foundation giving, donor cultivation, PR and/or stewardship.
• Experience identifying, recruiting and partnering with volunteers to achieve results.
• Strong strategic thinking, committee leadership, account management and volunteer development skills.
• Three+ years of management experience supervising staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Board/Volunteer Engagement: lead with ED and volunteers, engage board, recruit volunteers, build partnerships, monitor campaigns.
• Events/Fundraising: drive revenue through Take Steps and chapter events, secure sponsorships and honorees.
• Communications: coordinate marketing for events and promote the Foundation brand.
• Team Leadership: supervise staff, hire and develop talent, align with regional/national leadership.
• Administration: manage chapter finances, budget, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
