Job summary

The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation seeks an Associate Executive Director to provide leadership and staff management for the chapter. You’ll partner with leadership volunteers to drive major gift campaigns, events fundraising, and community partnerships to grow revenue and awareness.

This hybrid role requires travel across the market and overseeing strategy, board engagement, volunteer development, and program reporting to optimize impact.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in not-for-profit fundraising.
• Track record in fundraising including events and donor cultivation.
• Experience identifying, recruiting and partnering with volunteers.
• Strong skills in strategic thinking, committee leadership and account management.
• 3+ years of direct staff supervision.

Responsibilities

• In partnership with leaders, create bold growth plans for the chapter and engage key volunteers.
• Work with Chapter President and Board of Directors to ensure an engaged board.
• Lead volunteer leadership asks and progress meetings.
• Build community with stakeholders and drive awareness through marketing and communications.
• Identify, recruit and engage volunteers with potential impact.
• Build partnerships with volunteers and supporters and foster accountability.
• Represent the chapter in the market area and share mission impact.
• Support campaigns and grow funding through special events and Take Steps.
• Monitor campaigns, provide recommendations, and manage program reporting and analytics.
• Coordinate fundraising activities and sponsorships with corporate partners.
• Lead staff hiring, training, retention, and performance planning.
• Maintain records and files for events, programs and activities.
