Job summary

Bora Pharmaceuticals, a premier CDMO, seeks a Senior Director of Business Development in the United States to drive growth for sterile fill-finish and other CDMO services across pharmaceutical and biotech clients.

You will lead strategic sales planning, build executive-level relationships, and collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Quality, and Regulatory teams while representing Bora at industry events to expand high-value partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7-10+ years of revenue growth experience in the CDMO industry.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drug development and manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies driving business growth.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and market analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand Bora’s customer base and high-value accounts.
• Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in contract manufacturing and development services.
• Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at pharma and biotech companies.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals leveraging cross-functional teams.
• Utilize consultative selling to position Bora as a preferred CDMO partner.
