Job responsibilities

  • Analyzes industry activity and develops an annual business plan for specific market segments and assigned accounts.
  • Plans and implements monthly objectives of the sales action plan, including budgeting of time and resources.
  • Develops account strategies for all appropriate clients.
  • Maintains up-to-date and accurate records within the salesforce.com database.
  • Maintains current professional level of knowledge in Central Nervous System (CNS), Oncology, Pediatrics and Data Management.
  • Participates in weekly updates to management and the Business Development team.
  • Actively participates at professional meetings and conventions as appropriate.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • BA/BS degree in a science related field, or equivalent related education and experience.
  • Experience working in a sales/relationship building role, and experience within the Clinical Trial Industry with in-depth experience and knowledge of Pharma Industry is a MUST.
  • Proven track record at mid/high level contacts and experience selling full clinical research services.
  • Strong sales skills with a proven track record as an individual contributor.
  • Excellent communication, effective presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Collaborative with a commitment to collaboration within and across departments.
  • Strong motivational and influence skills.
  • Excellent skills using MS Office Suite and Google Applications.
  • Up to 30% travel for company meetings, client meetings and industry conferences.
  • Experience working in CRM (i.e., salesforce).
  • Ability to communicate in English (both verbal and written).

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $218,167. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
