Job summary

Nucleus RadioPharma seeks a Senior Director, Business Development to lead new CDMO revenue, sourcing and closing complex contracts with small and emerging biotech sponsors, advancing select strategic accounts.

In a GMP-regulated, fast-growing environment, you will drive deal strategy with the VP, Commercial Operations, manage major sponsor relationships, and shape pricing and terms while guiding cross-functional teams toward commercially compelling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive business development or related experience in biopharma/CDMO.
• CRM/pipeline discipline with accurate data and reporting.
• Senior Director level autonomy with strategic impact in an early-stage environment.
• Executive presence for engaging C-suite and senior stakeholders.
• Strong pricing, prioritization, and negotiation judgment.
• Excellent relationship-building and cross-functional influence.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to foster an inclusive, collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of priority BD opportunities from first contact to signed contract.
• Lead sponsor outreach and build executive-level relationships.
• Maintain rigorous CRM visibility into deal stages and timing.
• Represent Nucleus at industry events to generate qualified leads.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure commercially compelling opportunities.
• Provide pricing strategy input and negotiate contract terms within authority.
• Ensure smooth handoff of closed programs to operations teams.
• Prepare regular pipeline and deal progression reporting.
• Mentor and potentially lead additional BD resources.
• Contribute market insights to capacity planning and strategy.
