Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc. in California seeks a senior engineering leader to create and guide the BESS System Integration Solution group, owning end-to-end product development of BESS and next‑gen energy systems including GT, CHP, and fuel cells.

The role consolidates California staff into the New Jersey office and leads a full organizational build-up, shaping architecture and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Systems (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years in BESS system integration product development; 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Deep expertise in DC/AC architecture, 1500V DC bus, PCS selection, BMS/EMS integration.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product development lifecycle for BESS 1.0 AC/DC and Gen 2.
• Lead and build a ~21-person organization across multiple functions.
• Define BESS system architecture and integration standards.
• Coordinate with HQ engineering and R&D teams.
• Drive certification programs (UL9540/9540A, NFPA 855, IEC62619).
