Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc. in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Program Manager to lead end-to-end Energy Storage System product development.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to drive development, integration, and deployment in a multi-vendor environment. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in program or project management within energy or complex hardware/software integration projects, with strong leadership, risk management, and tight timeline execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
• 5+ years of experience in program or project management in energy or complex hardware/software integration projects.
• Proven track record managing multi-vendor projects in energy storage, batteries, inverters, or similar systems.
• Strong understanding of energy storage technologies including lithium-ion batteries, power conversion systems, and grid integration.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate collaboration among battery suppliers, inverter suppliers, field service and commissioning teams, system integrator, and internal cross-functional teams.
• Project Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain project plan, timelines, milestones, and budgets; track progress with Gantt charts and KPIs.
• Risk Management: Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Communication and Reporting: Serve as primary point of contact; prepare regular status updates, dashboards, and executive reports.
• Integration Oversight: Manage technical and operational integration of ESS components; coordinate testing, validation, and commissioning activities.
• Resource Allocation: Optimize resource utilization; negotiate with suppliers and partners to resolve conflicts.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze outcomes and drive process enhancements for future programs.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to UL, IEC standards and environmental guidelines.
