Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health is seeking a Director of Behavioral Health to lead system-wide operations and align inpatient and interventional services with organizational priorities.

You will partner with hospital, physician, nursing, and operational leaders to advance quality, safety, access, and performance, building standard processes and data-driven improvements.

This onsite role in Longmont requires RN leadership and a strong track record in behavioral health services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a health-related field.
• RN licensure required; CPR/BLS certification through a recognized provider.
• 7 years of progressive leadership in healthcare ops, with 5 years in behavioural health.

Responsibilities

• Develops system-wide behavioural health goals and performance initiatives.
• Leads inpatient and interventional behavioural health operations across multiple settings.
• Collaborates with executive and clinical leaders to implement programs and models of care.
• Oversees dashboards, KPIs, budgets, and data-driven decision-making.
• Maintains critical thinking and ability to act in fast-paced environments.

Education

Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a health-related field

RN licensure

7 years of progressive healthcare operations leadership

BLS/CPR certification
