UCHealth's Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, CO seeks an operational leader to direct system-wide behavioral health operations, aligning inpatient and interventional services with organizational priorities. The role is onsite and requires RN licensure and a master's degree.

The role partners with hospital leadership to advance quality, safety, access, and performance, and requires extensive leadership in healthcare operations and behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a health-related field.
• State RN licensure is required.
• 7+ years of progressive healthcare operations leadership, including 5+ years in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements system-wide behavioral health goals, operational strategies, standards, and performance improvement initiatives aligned with organizational, regulatory, and strategic objectives.
• Leads inpatient and interventional behavioral health operations across multiple hospitals and care settings, including service planning, complaint management, access, throughput, and operational performance.
• Collaborates with executive, physician, nursing, and operational leaders to evaluate and implement programs, services, growth opportunities, models of care, and evidence-based practices.
• Oversees operational dashboards, key performance indicators, workforce planning, budgets, resource utilization, and data-informed decision-making to support sustainable outcomes.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Pay: $69.65 - $111.44 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary

Directs system-wide behavioral health operations and resources to align inpatient and interventional behavioral health services with organizational priorities. Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a health-related field.


• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Relevant certification as determined at position level.


• 7 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, including 5 years of leadership experience in behavioral health services.


• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
