Job summary

UCHealth (Colorado) in Longmont is seeking a Registered Nurse Director of Behavioral Health to lead system-wide behavioral health operations, aligning inpatient and interventional services with organizational priorities. You will partner with hospital and clinical leaders to advance quality, safety, access, and performance.

The role requires a master’s degree, RN licensure, and substantial leadership experience in healthcare, including behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a health-related field.
• State licensure as an RN with current license.
• 7 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, including 5 years in behavioral health.
• BLS certification through AHA/Red Cross valid at start date and through sixty days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Develops system-wide behavioral health goals and performance initiatives.
• Leads inpatient and interventional behavioral health operations across multiple sites.
• Collaborates with executive and clinical leaders to evaluate programs and growth opportunities.
• Oversees dashboards, KPIs, budgets, and data-informed decision-making.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
