Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a Manager VII, Director of Behavior Health Services at the San Angelo SSLC, located in CARLSBAD, TX. You will oversee clinical and administrative functions, supervise LPCs, BCBAs, and SAP specialists, and align programs with regulatory requirements.

This exempt role requires a master's degree and at least one year in IDD or behavioral health, along with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, applied behavior analysis or related field.
• Experience in behavioral health services for individuals with IDD or complex needs.
• Proven leadership and program administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinical and administrative operations of the SSLC behavior health services department.
• Leads long-term strategic plans, policies, procedures and statewide initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with ICF-IID standards and related state/federal laws.
