Job summary

U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. seeks a senior member relations professional to lead engagement with high-level members and prospects across a dynamic AI- and technology-focused portfolio.

The Director will manage day-to-day C-suite relationships and drive revenue opportunities while advancing member value. The role requires proven relationship management, strong sales skills, and the ability to translate complex topics for executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' experience in fundraising/sales or member or client relations.
• Direct revenue responsibility.
• Direct exposure to AI- and technology-company ecosystems, lifecycles, trends, policy debates, and key influencers.
• Superior relationship management experience and sales skills.
• Strong presentation and persuasion skills; confident when engaging with C-suite leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of significant members and lead engagement with portfolio accounts.
• Actively engage members to deliver value through regular connections, policy updates, and event invitations.
• Drive new business growth within the AI and technology portfolio through prospecting and cultivation.
• Meet or exceed annual revenue and retention goals and develop integrated revenue plans.
• Create customized KPIs for portfolio members to define success and track progress.
• Develop partnerships with Chamber leaders to strengthen ties to national and global AI/tech leaders.
• Collaborate with policy colleagues to identify new areas of interest and deliver contracted benefits.
• Work with finance and operations on revenue forecasting, renewal planning, invoicing, and engagement tracking (Salesforce).
• Travel regularly to deepen relationships and represent the Chamber in key markets.
