Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 10 years experience in Technology Risk, Data Risk or Model Risk.
• At least 8 years of People Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and SME on AI risk across control domains.
• Keep pace with AI advancements.
• Identify and implement continual program enhancements based on industry standards and best practices related to data and AI risk management.
• Partner with Retail Bank Tech and Business teams to assess their compliance with data and model management requirements.
• Collaborate with the Managing data steward team to build a strategic point of view on evolution of data risk.
• Build and maintain risk oversight processes across data quality, lineage, and data usage in AI/LLM.
• Apply a solid understanding of control environments to mitigate risks.
• Influence stakeholders to build consensus on risk mitigation and remediation strategies.
• Engage in AI usage across the LOB through the full lifecycle.
• Provide thought leadership on proactive risk management techniques.
• Deliver clear reports to stakeholders with proposed mitigations.
• Build a high performing Data and AI risk team.
