Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, Data Platform to lead a data‑driven transformation across the enterprise. You will own the platform vision, guide architecture, and partner with Product, Finance, and GTM to turn financial and usage data into trusted, decision-ready assets.

You’ll build and mentor a squad of data engineers and analysts, drive metrics standardization, and ensure scalable governance. A strong background in modern data stacks and AI readiness is required.

Qualifications

• Leads squad-based data teams and leaders of people managers.
• Deep familiarity with B2B financials and usage/adoption data.
• Strong foundation in modern data platforms and guiding engineering decisions.
• Experience enabling AI/ML through data platform modernization.
• Proven governance, SLA management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own and champion the technical vision and roadmap for the enterprise data platform.
• Align platform priorities with AI enablement, analytics modernization, and data-driven decisions.
• Operationalize a data mesh with unified governance across the data stack.
• Provide architecture guidance on data quality, reliability, and SLAs; manage vendors.
