Groupon, Inc. seeks a Director/Senior Director of Marketplace Strategy & Operations in a hybrid Chicago or remote New York City setting.

You will shape marketplace performance for customers and merchants, lead high-priority initiatives, and drive measurable business results with senior leaders across Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, Analytics and Operations. You will personally lead analyses, own diagnosis through implementation, and operate with cross-functional partners to deliver decisions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in Strategy & Operations or similar analytical role.
For Director: end-to-end ownership of complex initiatives with measurable results.
For Senior Director: ownership at scale — P&L or multi-year agenda with leadership influence.
Strong analytical and commercial judgment; ability to challenge assumptions.

Responsibilities

Identify and prioritize opportunities across marketplace performance and operating efficiency.
Own diagnosis-to-implementation initiatives with cross-functional teams.
Define baselines, targets, and track impact of changes.
