Job summary

Genentech is seeking a Senior Director, Data Management & Analytical Data Science Solutions within Roche Digital Technology. You will lead end-to-end biometrics data platforms, define product strategy, architectural roadmap, and AI integration vision to power Roche's clinical pipeline.

You will shepherd a global, multidisciplinary team, drive cloud-native data pipelines handling petabyte-scale datasets, ensure GxP compliance, and deliver AI-enabled workflows for regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required (Master/PhD) in a Science or Technology discipline.
• 10+ years in Product Engineering and Business Analysis with pharma/biotech biometrics experience.
• 4+ years in a leadership role managing interdisciplinary teams.
• Fluency in APIs, Cloud, and Microservices architecture and AI agents in biometrics workflows.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and align diverse groups toward a common goal.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term product roadmap and financial objectives.
• Aggressively integrate AI/ML capabilities and track KPIs.
• Lead the architectural modernization and scaling of cloud-native data pipelines for petabyte-scale datasets.
