Job summary

Veracity Ventures Inc. seeks a Senior Director of Internal Audit, Data Science and AI to lead AI strategy, analytics, and automation across Internal Audit.

This hands-on role requires directing a small, highly technical team while contributing to AI model development, architecture, and deployment. You will drive AI-enabled transformation across the audit lifecycle, partnering with risk, compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes with governance and responsible AI

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in data science, AI, analytics, automation, product management, or related enterprise tech functions.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience building and coaching high-performing technical teams.
• Proven success delivering enterprise AI/analytics products from strategy to production adoption.
• Experience leading AI-enabled transformation in regulated environments such as financial services or audit.
• Deep expertise across AI/ML, GenAI, automation, data platforms, and cloud technologies.
• Experience partnering with Technology to build enterprise platforms, APIs, and AI solutions.
• Strong understanding of data governance, model risk, and responsible AI requirements.
• Executive communication, stakeholder influence, and strategic advisory skills.
• Experience designing operating models, talent plans, and performance metrics to improve delivery and reuse.
• Curiosity and adaptability in learning emerging technologies, including AI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Internal Audit AI, analytics, and automation roadmap.
• Own strategy, roadmaps, delivery, and adoption for AI, GenAI, analytics, and automation capabilities.
• Drive improvements in audit efficiency, risk detection, and insight generation.
• Lead architecture and development of advanced AI workflows (RAG, intelligent agents).
• Ensure governance and responsible AI practices across audit tech.
• Partner with Technology and stakeholders to scale an enterprise AI platform.
• Coach and develop a high-performing data science and AI team.
• Advise executives on strategy and translate technical concepts for nontechnical audiences.
