Job summary

Global Technical Talent is seeking a Senior Director - Internal Audit focused on Data Science and AI in Washington, DC. This role leads AI-enabled transformation within a highly regulated enterprise, delivering analytics, automation, and data products from strategy through production adoption.

The candidate will partner with Technology to scale platforms, govern data products, manage model risk, and advise C-suite stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data science, AI, analytics, automation, product management, technology delivery, audit tech, or related enterprise tech functions.
• 5+ years of leadership building and coaching diverse teams of data science, AI, automation, product, and tech professionals.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise AI, analytics, automation, or data products from strategy to production adoption.
• Experience leading AI-enabled transformation in Internal Audit, risk, compliance, financial services, or other regulated enterprises.
• Deep expertise in AI/ML, GenAI, automation, analytics, data platforms, cloud, model lifecycle, and scalable delivery practices.
• Experience partnering with Technology to design and scale platforms, APIs, and governance for enterprise AI.
• Strong understanding of data governance, model risk, responsible AI, and regulatory expectations in financial services.
• Executive communication and influencing skills to advise executives and explain technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Experience establishing strategies, operating models, talent plans, and performance measures to accelerate delivery and efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, data science, statistics, engineering, info systems, or related field.
