First National Bank of Omaha is seeking an experienced Sr. Director, Advanced Data Scientist to lead the data science and modeling function in the Partnership Division.

You will shape multi-year modeling strategy for credit decisioning, oversee model development for acquisition and portfolio management, and drive cross-functional alignment with risk and technology teams. You will own end-to-end model development, from problem framing to production deployment, and advance analytics including

Qualificações

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field is required or strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of experience building statistical or ML models in finance.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R with strong SQL skills.
• Expertise with gradient boosting, neural nets, ensemble methods.
• Experience with model explainability techniques such as SHAP.

Responsabilidades

• Define and own multi-year modeling roadmap for credit-risk models.
• Develop advanced ML models for credit card acquisition and risk.
• Lead end-to-end model development from problem to production.
• Perform feature engineering, validation, and performance evaluation.
• Monitor model performance and address degradation and risks.
• Provide technical leadership and establish ML best practices.
