Job summary

Willis Towers Watson in the United States seeks a Senior Director, Absence, Disability Management and Life (ADML) to lead large client engagements in the design and management of group disability and broader absence programs. You will drive strategy, grow relationships with current clients, and participate in new business pursuits across North America.

The role requires 10+ years’ experience in ADML design/management in consulting or brokerage, a State Life and Health license within 90 days, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in design/management of large group ADML programs in a consulting or brokerage environment.
• Proven ability to generate revenue.
• Track record of growing large client relationships.
• Proven experience leading projects.
• Excellent ability to influence and collaborate with senior management.
• Interest in staying current with health and welfare plan strategy developments.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Availability to travel 35-50% (largely day travel).
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic partner to large clients in ADML program design/management.
• Lead vendor procurement, negotiation, and optimization.
• Audit vendor performance (financial/operational).
• Develop paid family and company leave programs.
• Grow ADML revenue by pursuing new client opportunities.
• Oversee consultants/project managers and present deliverables to clients.
• Contribute to Willis Towers Watson marketing through conferences/articles.
• Mentor and lead other consultants.
