Job summary

Willis Towers Watson in Arlington, VA, is seeking an Absence, Disability Management and Life Insurance Senior Associate to lead design and management of complex group disability programs for large clients, participate in new business initiatives, and help develop intellectual capital.

You will manage projects, guide cross-functional teams, analyze data, build client relationships, and mentor junior staff while meeting regulatory requirements and travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in large group disability design/management in consulting or brokerage.
• Strong financial skills; prior underwriting or claims management preferred.
• Proven experience creating project plans and leading teams to deliver against plan guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide value-added consulting on large, sophisticated Absence, Disability Management and Life (ADML) projects; sample projects include analysis, design and cost savings strategies.
• Serve as project manager and day to day contact for clients; lead delivery, manage budgets and timelines.
• Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams.
• Complete and master analytical work; contribute to development of new intellectual capital.
