Job summary

Norwegian Cruise Line seeks a Senior Director of Accounting Transformation to lead a Transformation Office within the Accounting department in Miami. Responsibilities include defining strategy, redesigning processes, enabling technology, and driving organizational optimization across Controllership and FP&A functions.

The role requires 12+ years of transformation leadership, SOX experience, and familiarity with ERP and BI tools; Big 4 experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience leading programs/projects involving process reengineering and/or automation in Controllership/FP&A.
• Experience in a SOX-compliant Accounting environment.
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
• Cruise line or hospitality industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and FP&A metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Transformation Office team within the Accounting department, overseeing process redesign, technology enablement and optimization.
• Develop a best-in-class project management playbook for transformation initiatives in Accounting.
• Lead strategic working sessions to identify and prioritize transformation initiatives and set a roadmap.
• Provide updates to Accounting leadership and business partners; ensure alignment with objectives.
• Ensure system design incorporates internal controls and SOX requirements.
• Own the master calendar for all transformation milestones and communications.
• Collaborate with department leaders within Accounting and other key departments.
• Provide strategic guidance to executive leadership to realize transformation objectives.
