Job Description

The Senior Director of Account Management provides strategic and operational leadership to a team of account executives, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. The role involves cross-functional collaboration to align and execute on Prime's and clients' priorities.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the account management team; serve as escalation point and issue resolver.
  2. Develop processes and metrics to monitor performance and ensure operational efficiency.
  3. Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to maximize satisfaction and growth.
  4. Collaborate on go-to-market strategies and maintain communication with stakeholders.
  5. Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and participate in RFPs.
  6. Manage the account team’s portfolio and strategic alignment.
  7. Discuss service performance and growth opportunities with clients.
  8. Oversee budgets, staffing, and team development; support team members.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Healthcare Administration, PharmD, or related; equivalent experience acceptable.
  • Minimum 8 years in healthcare or pharmacy benefit management client services, preferably Medicaid.
  • At least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of the PBM industry and related areas.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects.
  • Proven leadership in building team culture and strategic planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment and leading process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours as needed.
  • Physical ability to sit, use hands, and perform related tasks.
Additional Information

Salary range: $143,000 - $243,000 based on experience.
